It's wonderful to be with a family who embraces the spirit of their loved one down to the last detail. There was joy at this service, even on a rainy day. They celebrated their patriarch's influence in their lives and thanked him. They told stories and laughed.
Did I mention he was a University of Washington alum? This was a beautiful riot of purple and gold.
Oh, yes. And he liked to fish.
